Poppy Building Projection, Armistice Day
Visual Poke have once again been busy with poppy building projections up and down the UK. Our teams have created massive building projections to mark Armistice Day on many notable structures, such as Salisbury Cathedral, Winchester Grand Hall and Guildford Cathedral to name a few.
In addition, Director Ram Malocca decided to treat the locals of his home town Potton in Bedfordshire to the Visual Poke formula, with a slightly smaller scale event on the Market Square of poppy building projections.
These Armistice Day building projections are key elements now amongst many charity groups, wishing to bring the bigger message to more and more members of the public who turn out in huge numbers to pay their respects on this most special of occasions.
Visual Poke work closely with Charities, organisers and of course the sites themselves to ensure building projections, depicting falling poppy’s, in a respectful sombre way can be executed with minimum fuss and disruption to the locale, whilst offering a chance for many to see the grand effect.
Remembrance day can be a very emotional time for many across Europe and the rest of the world as we think of those who have the ultimate sacrifice.
Our crew have worked tirelessly this year to ensure the many sites we serviced received the same high quality treatment in some tricky locations and limited set up time.
Visual Poke will continue to support the many good causes up and down the country whom we have had the pleasure to work with over the years.
Lest we forget…
