Audi Video Building Projection in London
Visual Poke were contacted due to our experience in vehicle building projection solutions. The client was keen to get moving images of various models in the Audi Sport range to accompany some rather beautiful real life Audi Sport vehicles.
So we took to the streets with the Director, DP and Locations experts to determine the best and most interesting projection sites for the proposed shoot. With only a week from proposal to shoot date, time was of the essence.
We decided, due to the complexity of the shoot schedule,?to build a turntable to house the projector and allow for manual panning of the projector and car content…giving us much greater surface coverage and better shots for the Director. This was a wise decision as on the night we needed the added flexibility to achieve the goals set on the reccie.
Various Building Projection surfaces were identified, ranging from the side of the National Theatre, to underground carparks and residential streets in South West London.
We catered our rig for fast set-up and de-rig. Taking only 15 minutes to be ready to project and 15 minutes to be back in the van at the end. We used a Dataton Watchout Media Server system for control of the Building Projection content, allowing for quick keystone corrections, rotation, size and position.
I think you’ll agree its a great result and everyone involved was super pleased with the results. We do love a challenge and this certainly qualified!
